Ziyarah of Maqam Habib Nuh by Shaykh Hisham Kabbani

Shaykh Hisham Kabbani made ziyarah or visitation to the Maqam or shrine of the Grand Saint of Singapore, Habib Nuh Alhabshi, on 10 June 2009. He also delivered a short talk at the Mosque (Masjid Hj Muhammad Salleh), which is located at the foot of the hill where the Maqam resides.

Welcome, Holy Month of Rajab!

When Prophet Muhammad, salallahu alaihi wasallam, sighted the moon of Rajab, he used to pray to Allah in the following words:

Welcome Rajab
Allahumma barik lana fi Rajab wa Sha’ban wa ballighna Ramadan

O Allah! Make the months of Rajab and Sha’ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadan (i.e. prolong our life up to Ramadan, so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings) [Narrated by at-Tabarani and Ahmad]
