Class session 4 hrs each week
Subjects Qur’an, Hadith, Arabic Language, Faith & Practices, Islamic History, Life of Prophet Muhammad (s), Social Studies, Morals & Ethics, etc
Sessions available Saturday or Sunday, 9 am to 1 pm
School fee $50 per student/month.

Term 2 Break

Please take note that the Madrasah will be closed for Term 2 break on Saturday 24 May 2008 & Sunday 25 May 2008.  Classes will resume on 21 & 22 June 2008.  Please refer to the document Breaks for 2008 for the dates of subsequent term break for the rest of the year.

Visit to Darul Ma’wa

As part of SimplyIslam’sg weekend Islamic school curriculum, and in an effort to instill values of empathy in our students and an appreciation of the underprivileged, we are organising an educational visit for all our students to the Darul Ma’wa Children’s Home.  Darul Ma’wa, managed by Jamiyah Singapore, is a residence for orphans and children from disadvantaged families and it provide holistic programs for the welfare of the children.  The visit is compulsory for all SimplyIslam’s students, and will Insha’Allah be organised on 10 & 11 May 2008 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The SimplyIslam students and teachers will organise educational games and activities for the residents of Darul Ma’wa. We will be providing refreshments and gifts for the residents, too.

Parents who wish to make a contribution towards the refreshments or the home can do so by informing the Admin Office by Wednesday, 7 May 2008.

Darul_Mawa_MapAs the visit is done during curriculum time, we seek your cooperation in fetching your child directly to Darul Ma’wa Children’s Home which is located at No. 1 Chin Cheng Road, off Still Road.  Please ensure that your child arrive by 9 a.m. sharp.  If for some reason your child is not able to attend the educational outing, please inform the admin office in advance. Short Essays

Feather PenSimplyIslam.sg operates a weekend Islamic school for students between the ages of 7 to 17 (Level 1 to Level 5). As part of our learning curriculum, some of our students have written short essays as part of their assessments. Let us share some of such essays by our Level 4 students on the subject of knowledge, prayers, etc.

The knowledge we acquire will ultimately lead us to know of the one almighty, all-knowing God, Allah.
